John is not totally consumed by his passion for the MBL Group. He does have other interests – his wife Anne, and their three children (who are conspiring to keep him poor). John loves to race his wee yacht on Saturdays at Worser Bay. He has never managed to get a place other than last unless someone else pulls out of the race. He also plays the guitar (badly) and has been known to perform a very true to life imitation of Roy Orbison’s “Crying” at karaoke.

Brenden is married to Rebecca. His interests include golf, rally car driving, wine and goldfish. He is a loquacious chap and is more than happy to share his experiences (in minute detail) with you. Brenden’s boyhood dream was to become a traffic officer.

Married to Liz, Mike’s home life is taken care of by 2 young boys with far too much energy.  Follower of most sports, sometimes to the detriment of household duties, especially when trying to cope with the longer crossover period of cricket and rugby and the time required to keep up to speed with both.  Golf is a passion although not enough time on the course for obvious reasons has provided extra handicaps.

Anne is the quintessential professional administrator and brings an air of calm to the organisation. Her role as Office Manager requires her involvement in accounts, marketing, staffing and general day-to-day smooth running of the business etc.

PA to Director

Jane’s role is PA to John as well as arranging the corporate group employee benefits division of the company. She brings to the MBL Group excellent organisation skills and people “flair”.  Jane has considerable industry experience and expertise and is an avid Hurriances supporter.

Susan Passuello

Manager

Susan proudly hails from the West Coast of the South Island.  Her role is to manage the new business sales process and to communicate with suppliers and clients alike in relation to the completion of policies. She is also in charge of client communication at review time.  Her attention to detail was honed by working as Office Manager for an accountancy firm for 14 years.

Deb Kirk

Deb is in charge of domestic new and renewal business and keeping Bernie in line.

She has excellent customer relations with may years experience in the industry.  Deb and her two teenage children moved back to Wellington from Melbourne in late 2008 for the weather.
